Every year on our return trip from doing Florida out-door Art Fairs, we would pass this buffalo farm along I-65 just a little south of Louisville, Kentucky. Often I would pull safely off the highway enough to get a few photos for painting reference. When I spotted this big’ole buffalo, I thought to myself . . . he’s just sitting there, all royal and regal, like he is in charge and everybody knows it. I had to paint’em in the WPA technique.
